Hi Khushies,
This post is basically a reminder about tomorrow's Chutney Saturday event, interspersed with a generous flotsam of redundant verbiage.
A couple of people pointed out the tomorrow's KhushDC Chutney dinner clashes with the annual much-waited-for and much-sought-after dinner hosted by Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the national level LGBTQZXREITI group.
(Honestly, I have no idea what ZXREITI stands for; I just typed in some arbitrary keys on my keyboard just to confuse myself and you.)
Those people (I would have called them kind souls - KS - if they hadn't criticized me, but since they did, I'll just refer to them as people) pointed out that HRC dinner attendees will miss Chutney dinner and versa vice. They insinuated that it was quite renegade of KhushDC to have Chutney at the same time as HRC.
Now I am a Man of Action (oops, I meant Person of action), so to sort out matters, I am hereby renaming tomorrow's KhushDC dinner as Highly Renegade Chutney (HRC) dinner. Bingo! Now no matter which dinner you attend, it will be the HRC dinner.
Attending KhushDC's HRC dinner has numerous benefits (or drawbacks, if you prefer). You won't have to be formally dressed and you won’t need to overstuff yourself with self-importance. You can still ogle at the other dinner attendees, but you won’t have to force yourself to smile at them.
As you may know, KhushDC's HRC dinner is at Thai Chef in Dupont tomorrow at
Please join us for the dinner and clubbing, and it will be great if you RSVP for the dinner by emailing me at treasurer @ khushdc.org or Harish at secretary @ khushdc.org. But you're also welcome to join us without RSVPing. The event details are at:
